I went down to the sea this afternoon. It sounds like an epic journey but it's actually just at the end of the street. I did take the long way around(4 miles). I sat on the dunes and read for a while. It was 18 degrees this afternoon(about 65ish maybe)...hot enough to burn my fair skin even with sunscreen on....ouch.

Its funny that your first picture shows speed bumps (I think they're called road humps in the UK) - because we only saw those once while there and I thought it strange because they're everywhere here.

It's just a little one way path between farmers fields and there is a lot of farm traffic and animals on it as well as the occasional car so I think they decided to throw a few speed bumps up. We have a couple at the entrance to the village as well.
